| My first cellphone |
Our generation is overrun by the abuse and overuse of cellphones and other electronics. The boom in electronics started as our generation was born. Our parents did not have the leisure of cellphones until well beyond their teenage years. It is now part of the American rites of passage into teenage years to own a cellphone that is chic and cool. In elementary school, we tried to pass notes without the teacher seeing, as we got cellphones, we tried to go through a whole class without being caught using our cellphones.
